Cesar Montoya, Esq.

Biography

Cesar Montoya, Esq. is a hip, young and eccentric attorney who epitomizes the concept of a Los Angeles attorney. He was born in Los Angeles and has lived throughout the city’s basin. However, being a LA boy is not what appeals most to Mr. Montoya’s clients, instead it is his dry wit, style and urbane nature, along with his cultured perspective on the world and law.

Cesar was born to immigrants of Hispanic descent. His international flavor is embodied throughout his life experience, having lived in Berlin and Barcelona among other international locales. Cesar has acted as a manager in the music industry, in addition to having practiced briefly some entertainment law.

Cesar joined Kostiv & Associates, P.C. in 2018, he had previously practice civil litigation for a well-respected firm in Downtown Los Angeles. However, his passion for international business soon enveloped his life and brought him to the practice of immigration law.

Cesar brought his fervor for law to immigration courts throughout the country, as he was the resident travel attorney and has appeared in excess of thirty (30) federal immigration courts across the United States. Additionally, he helped manage the Miami office for the firm in 2019. In 2020, Cesar was asked to take over the in-house counsel position for the firm and to maintain the day to day legal operations for the company. While most of Cesar’s practice is now focused on assisting corporate management, he still takes on immigration cases of interest, along with protecting the firm’s corporate interests
